Mystery visitor!!!!
My Human went out onto the deck to adjust a flowerpot. Next thing I know, I can hear her talking to someone, but I do not smell anything yet and I am very comfortably half-asleep, so I just stay where I am. I hear my Human moving around. Then I hear something else moving around. Of course I must investigate!!! I begin my descent from the chair, and suddenly my Human runs into the house and shuts the screen door very quickly, but She is still looking outside. Then...
I SMELL IT!!!!
But I do NOT know what it is!!
It is not another Cat, it is not a Squirrel, it is not a (yuck) Dog, it is most definitely not a Bird of any variety... WHAT IS IT??
I push my nose to the screen, and it waddles over (it is FAT!) and does the same, making weird snuffling snorting sounds!! IT SMELLS STRANGE!! Not good, either, I think it needs some DeeOhDoorAnt or whatever that stuff is.
Then I realise that I am being much too nice!! This is MY TERRITORY, MY Human, MY deck!!
I HISS AND BRISTLE... GET OFF OF MY DECK!!! And TAKE YOUR FUNNY SMELL WITH YOU!
And the arrogant fat Non-Identifiable THING just snorts at me and waddles back down the stairs.
It is lucky it decided to retreat, because I was about ready to let it have what for!!
Um, well, if my Human would've let me outside, that is.
