"If you had to go an entire week without TV, music, or your mobile phone, which would you choose, and why?"
Oh this one is sooo easy! TV. I've been living without watching TV for over 4 years, maybe 5, It's hard to say - but its no real hardship.
The only regrets I have is if I hear about a new program that is so widely loved it's exceptional - like Modern Family - then I feel like I might be missing out on something. Luckily, I go to my parents for dinner most Sundays, so I get to see it then, because they (especially my mother now that she is retired) organize their lives around what they want to see on TV. 0__0 Really.
My mobile phone I'm already ho-hum about. I could take it or leave it. I twitter but spasmodically, I remember surviving pre being able to be reached 24/7 and actually find myself setting my phone to silent or just plain ignoring it more often than not, but music - I don't think life would be half as appreciated without it.
Music is life, the pulse of love and happiness and just about any other emotion you can name and I couldn't imagine living without it. It's pure and joyous when you want, it's melancholy and soulful when you need it, it can express and invoke almost any emotion you can name - and some you can't. There's just nothing else like it on Earth.
To go without music would be to go without a love of your life. I never want to experience life without music.
