Dear Miriam's family,
I'm most grateful to Sasha who introduced me to Miriam. I feel as though I got to know her in person. She was a wonderfully vivacious woman, and her life story touched me greatly. I can't thank you enough for allowing me to have one of her paintings and for taking the trouble of sending it to Romania. I'm very happy to have this lovely memoir. It will always remind me of Miriam.
