Writing LiveJournal Style

Wow. I'm used to writing on the computer, but that's completely different. Those are novels, not journal entries. And people are going to see this! *expression of horror*
What is it exactly that one writes in a journal, anyways? I mean, I suppose that technically, it's supposed to be mushy, and about your feelings, or about how you like Bob and he likes Katherine, or whatever. But in reality, what does one really write about, knowing that there's others out there who will be reading this?
And what does one really write about on here, at LiveJournal?

Maybe I'll just plod along in blissful internet anonymity. That sounds nice. So on second thought, I really have no preference as to if anyone reads this or not.
