Taste of Chicago Part 1
Mmmmm overpriced exotic food.
Today, I went to the Taste of Chicago. I will be returning on Friday. I plan on being very adventurous. Goat, oxtails, and the like. Today, I had this really good spring roll with shrimp, vegetables, and noodles wrapped in rice paper. Also the Bailey's Irish Cream Ice Cream.
The train ride home was interesting. I ended up sitting by a high school couple who were in the city with the girl's parents. For some reason the couple got on the train without parents or tickets. Brilliant. She calls her mom, once the train is moving, and asks where they are. Her freaking parents aren't even on the train. So, her bf pays for the train. He's pissed and she's pouting. She proceeds to go sit in another seat and I think she actually squeezed out a tear. Once she was done having her fit, she went and sat by the offending bf and continued to pout. She looked like Paris Hilton's twin sister. Yeesh.
Anywho, go to the Taste. Very yummy.
