Fish book

This is a silly experiment & I'm not sure I like the result... I saw these cheap fish-shaped plastic thingies at the marketplace (they have suction caps to stick to the walls of your bathroom) & I thought they would be perfect as book covers.
Unfortunately the fish is not symmetrical, so one of the covers has to be reversed & doesn't look very nice. I cut off the suction caps with an exacto knife but I didn't like the marks they left, so I attached some colorful buttons in their place. Maybe a book to stick to your bathroom wall would have been fun, though.
I cut out the fish-shaped signatures with scissors (in fact they don't align perfectly...)
The spine, with a few decorations:
I have a couple of fish left... Any suggestions for the next attempt? (:
