“Kyoya-nii?” Small hands tugged on the older boy’s shirt. Kyoya looked down right into the younger boy’s eyes and his eye brows quirked slightly up in question.
“You won’t leave me right? We’ll always be friends?” Kyoya looked down at the boy thoughtfully then turned to face the road ahead, and continued walking.
“Y-you won’t l-leave me right?” The smaller boy asked again, but this time his grip on the older boy’s shirt tightened, his lips quivered, and his large brown eyes began to moisten up. As the silence grew longer, the smaller boy’s shoulders began to shake, and you could hear sharp intakes of air gradually building into sobs. The smaller boy let go of Kyoya’s shirt, and stopped walking.
“I won’t leave you,” Kyoya stated looking back at the smaller boy, “So stop crying you weak herbivore”.
Kyoya quickly looked back ahead, and continued walking. The smaller boy quickly wiped his teary eyes with his sleeves, and ran after Kyoya. The smaller boy catching up with Kyoya grabbed onto the older boy’s hand, and smiled up at him. Kyoya continued to walk on, giving no indication of seeing the smile, but the grip on the smaller boy’s hand slightly tightened as they continued to walk on.
