Cry me a river

The gist, is that Pepsi was running a promo, they promised a 250 tickets opening day tickets to fans who showed up (lottery style). People waited in line. Turns out they were giving tickets away but to a game in June. While I'm not a baseball fan, I respect that this is a substantial difference.

Cue tape to 45second in.

i thought this was pretty fucking funny. Because:
(1) She knew the nature of the event and tacitly agreed to participate by showing up..
(2) The tickets were free. Beggars, sadly can't be choosers.
(3) It was a bloody lottery. I've showed up to one of these for an AMD event in Boston. You stand around, sometimes you get something but usually not.
(4) She cries foul on behalf of the children who were brought out and had to deal with the grind of the crowd. I feel bad for the children, but only because their parents volunteered them for that crap.

I don't know what fantasy world one lives in when they feel that they're owed free tickets for showing up because some guy said there would be a lottery.

Now you say you're sorry
for being so untrue
well you can cry me a river
cry me a river
but it won't get you any tickets.
