I am a bad non-blogger.
I've got loads of time before work to make up for my lack of posting the last couple days! I do have a pretty good excuse, though, since I was hardcore working on my RP character, Mai. Which I can now talk about since she is fully formed and no longer a secret!
Mai is one of my oldest roleplay characters, but I don't think I've used her in probably seven or eight years since when XSG was on Avidgamers, before that went tits up. I didn't bring her over to X-Men Past (the site we were all on before XSG, not run by me though I was an admin for a bit. We all did a mass exodus when the lead admin wouldn't delete the site's most hated, inconsistent character) or to XSG on AcornRack. She's pretty much a Shaman King rip off, powers-wise, though her abilities have been altered to... well, make sense. But she's... cheerier, I guess, than the rest of my characters (with the possible exception of Zachariah). Very fun to RP so far.
Dylan's new eyes arrived. They suit him better than the blue ones did, for sure. They go better with his faceup since it's all natural tones. I did eventually run him through the box-o-wigs and none of them even came close to looking good on him. I might want to go through that box at some point, actually, and weed through it. Anyway, here's a pic.
I've got a bunch of stuff in the mail or on order. The clothes from Shin-Zo on DoA should be here sometime this week. I'm not sure how long the Brennil clothes will take to ship since it's kind of a big order. I've also got a bunch of books coming from Amazon which will hopefully be here Monday so I have something to read (note to self, dig for something to read at work tonight) and then early next week they should be shipping me Pokemon SoulSilver and HeartGold. No judging me. I should be getting the shipping notice for a MSD Crimson Dollheart Fer sometime tomorrow... because I saw it on the Marketplace and couldn't resist buying it. I'll probably sell off the pink one, since I really like the purple one. I would actually kill for a black one, too.
I'm not sure I like the upgraded version of DoA. I'm finding the layout kind of hard to read and there are a lot of layout changes that I can't say I'm happy with. Like the lack of drop down menus or PM short cuts. I suppose I have no choice but to live with it, though I sincerely hope they add layout options. Bright blue on bright white is nice and all, but not exactly a treat on the eyes.
