Moving I (better title eventually)

March - April (can't remember actual dates)

Alice in Chains was wyked.
Very nice venue to have them play. We were on the floor so we expected some moshing. Had to protect myself a bit and brace myself but it's no Opeth mosh pit that I went through lol; helped Suzie a bit lol Too bad we didn't hit that yelling guy next to her; he was definitely out of it. So the beer was spilled, so the floor was amazing when we tried to leave; and again the smoking of pot nearby ended up giving me a headache, but had to brace through to listen, but was still worth it. I still don't see the point of getting wasted to enjoy and appreciate music; you just become jerkwads and ruin a portion of other people's evening.
But holy plaid city Batman! lol There were so many in plaid shirts, it made me feel like I should have worn my blue grunge one. lol It would have been nostalgic about being a tomboy in high school. XD

The drive went good, the weather sunny. Luckily Dan got me an energy drink, otherwise I think I would have slept lol. When we arrived, Suzie and I commented on the old building, a lot of Gothic structures or hint of them, makes me want to find a camera and do that Gothic photography I want to do for a while. We finally chose a place to eat, our French was good, and they were planning to make me the host since I spoke it more lol fat chance guys XD Luckily the spoke English. Before we ordered we had to use the washroom and she and I went to our stalls passing by someone who was washing her hands. I had to flush the toilet before using it cause for obvious reasons and then was went inside the stall. Well, suddenly lights out. At first I thought the lights were those automatic ones where if you don't move enough it shuts off but that was barely a second after the door shut. So as Suzie and I were discussing this, I used my phone as light and guess what. The switch was turned off. Nice huh? I said: What a betch." Really some people are just flat out rude. I wonder if it's because I flushed her business because she hadn't. Anyways. We ordered food and it was strange to see fries on a pizza, nachos to be eaten with a fork and my chicken wrap was not the greatest; it was filled with so much lettuce and the chicken tasted like olive oil and the wrap was dry. Suzie offered some of her pizza and I'm glad I had part of it; we then found out that there were packaged mayonnaise in with the rest of the packaged condiments. :/
Managed to take some pictures with my phone of the concert. I will have to get that cable for my phone in order to transfer soon. I might try to upload them into my laptop; it will be an agonizing process. Took one of Dan and his new friend lol a passing by person asking for a light ended up having a conversation with him and he passed the car. lol I also remembered why I don't wear my flatter heeled boots to concerts; hurts my feet like Hell and numbs my toe. I hope to find some good combat boots. Hard to find though.

Apartment searching is unfruitful. I've been searching but no luck yet. V and P already bought a house.

I can't continue my search since my computer decided to die on me. No internet for a week and when I do get it back, I guess one of my past uncompleted downloads decided to finish and was corrupted so now I have a new virus. Run "command" didn't work so let's try to restart it and then go into safe mode. Well my computer decided not to do this and actually I guess shortened out and died. Like I can really afford this, now. I managed to hook up the net to my laptop but unfortunately to load any pages it takes a good 20 minutes or so. So slow and tiresome.
So I'm hoping to find something soon and available in time. Trying to figure out if I should get rid of my bed and just get a futon and then save up for a new bed (my poor back) with an actual frame this time. My dresser is also done lol so as much as I want to keep it as my tv stand, it'll be less stuff to carry around.

concert, moving, alice in chains
