I bid on shit frequently from EBAY. Since Nintendo, MicroSoft, and Sony are going to get greedy and make gamers pay through the nose to play games in the future, I've been back-stepping my game collection. I have been beefing up my PSX RPG collection; so I've been winning classics like Final Fantasy VII, the Legend of Mana guide, and other such classics and rarities.
Today I finally received
Grandia in the mail, and I was excited, naturally. I tear open the mailer box, like I was a youngster in my youth at Christmas, and I see the game jewel case with the plastic and sticker still in place. Confused, I re-read the auction. "I didn't know I was bidding on a new game," I think to myself. The seller listed the game as "used", even though it is new. Holy monkey.
I've seen new copies of this game go for much more than what I won it for. I only paid $33 for this little gem. I feel really lucky.
