game board back story

With regard to my last entry in which I am having a crack-attack about the EBay auction, I did manage to win what I bid on!

When I was 13 years old, I think, my mom got me a board game for Christmas. It was "Terrace." I remember having quite a bit of fun with that game. Years later, when I was living in northern Maine, I had that game stolen, along with all of my video games, game consoles, and music CDs. I was really heart-broken.

But thanks to the magic of EBay, I managed to reacquire the game, brand-new! I was extrordinarily excited to get such a rare find.

The game is so geek-chic it was even featured on Star Trek: The Next Generation. That was the other reason my mom got me that game. At that time I was a huge Trek fan.

Just so you all know how interesting, thought-provoking, and mentally stimulating the game is, I even managed to find a kick-ass Java version on the interweb. Click here for rules and actual game play.
