DONE DONE DONE!
Well, it is official!!! I survived my first year as a teacher without beheading, loss of limb, or breaking down into tears!!!! I'm very excited about having one year under my belt. The more and more I am here the more and more I desire to go back to school so that I can become a college professor and not have to deal with quite as busy busy pointless stuff. All in good time, I suppose.
I was in town last night - I had wonderful assistance grading a mound of papers that had to be graded by noon. I even saw the illusive Perkins dweller. I only ended up sleeping for about half an hour and I am currently at school awaiting Angie to finish up her things at the institution so that I can go home and crash peacefully!
So this summer will be spent devoting my time to dog sitting, writing a professional development plan for licensure, re-applying for my MN license as they claim they didn't receive my PPST scores - which I totally sent in, and reworking my unit plans. Oh happy day, just get me the heck out of here already!
