Rain
The spouse tried driving out but half the traffic lights are out, trees down, emergency vehicles all over--and the entire back end of the house is leaking down the inside of our walls. I guess at some point over the past couple decades the roof was damaged, probably during a quake, but of course we never knew because it's been years and years since we had this level of rain. The 1982 I think--he said the waves are breaking over the top of the pier the way they did when it came down.
Aaaand my cell phone just blared at me with flash flood warnings. Spouse is home safe (the pharmacy had shut down) but I wish the son would get home. I will call, see if he's safely at his girlfriend's.
Looks like no dog walk for the bow bow for a bit.
And a fire truck just rolled past. And another flash flood blast.
