So today happens to be our 36th wedding anniversary, which we had planned to just let be a day. It's insanely hot, and restaurant prices being what they are, eh.
But then I opened today's mail, which was nearly 100% junk. Nearly, I say, because there was a red envelope addressed to me, with no return address, so I nearly tossed it, thinking it more political stuff. But I didn't, and I found a very generous gift--no name attached. So some anonymous person did a kind thing, and doesn't want strings attached. Wow. How do I repay that?
To pass it forward, when I can. Same way. And I will.
I am as overwhelmed by the kindness as I am by the gift itself. I promise to pass it on, unknown giver.
gratitude,
serendipity
