Riff at Fantasy Cafe, women in fantasy month

Apr 04, 2013 09:12

I was invited to do a column for Fantasy Cafe, so I expanded on the ideas about fandom that I mentioned last month at gillpolack's LJ. Previous days have seen luminaries like Jacqueline Carey and Karin Lowachee. I mulled this for weeks--I don't feel like a fraud, exactly, talking about (my) writing, but I do feel like I'm being a bore. I've seen people bored stiff when I uncork. It took me decades to learn to zip it.

So these (rare) invites cause me to look outward, and here is the link.
