I feel the need to warn for references to child abuse cos the author didn't (and which I didn't think added to the fic at all but maybe will be addressed in the sequel not that I want it to, but was dropped in and then never referenced again), and also occasionally surprising adjective use *g* (author does say "not polished' cos of length", I reckon would have been worth a beta...I mentioned I love this anyway, right? BECAUSE POSSESSIVE!SPOCK IS THE HOTTEST THING EVER!!! I IMPRINTED ON HIM AT A YOUNG AGE, WHAT. Breaking Points

Hmm I don't know if it's a sign that my obsession has peaked that I don't get *really* annoyed any more when fics ignore the Spock/Uhura relationship, or if I've now read enough good fics that have addressed their break up that I can now just approach a fic with the understanding that it's happened. *shrug* Advancing a relationship with Leonard McCoy only seems logical, particularly after Spock hears that the good doctor carried his katra in another life.
