"I'm almost finished my rewrite of 'Reunion' and am, admittedly, a little worried. While the script offers plenty of action, it is primarily a character-driven story. It'll be interesting to see what kind of notes we receive from the network."
(Executive producer Joseph Mallozzi, in a post at his blog)
Character-driven? Only if by 'driven' he mean drunkenly steered into oncoming traffic.
What the hell, seriously. I can't even. The stupid plot. The badly written dialogue, the clumsy character interaction. I swear Amanda Tapping actually looked embarrassed at the crap she had to spout.
And also, remember the days Alantis wasn't just an American military base? *is nostalgic*
EDIT
Speranza's recap! So you don't have to watch it! Mind you, she enjoyed it, so, whatever.
I'd just like to mention that while all around me were DISSING 4.02, I DEFENDED IT. Okay, I defended it by pointing out that we don't watch this show for the plots, but it COUNTS. It was great! Full of fabulous John/Rodney character interaction! and bonding! and Zelenka-throwing! What's not to love?
