Speranza, who is a GOD,
has written an OT4 fic. She says about it..
'The thing is that this fandom is ruining me. SGA. WTF. I used to write stories to do interesting characterological or narrative things. Now I'm like, "Can I have ice cream with rainbow sprinkles and extra whipped cream and cherries and nuts and coconut and--and--and a big silver parasol! and a magic wand!--and a big glitter pen!--and a pony?" Because, you know--fuck it, I'm getting old. I want my pony.'
Of course her idea of a rainbow sprinkle fic involves a plot, and angst, and hotness, and omg is written from Teyla's pov.
Many years later, Teyla Emmagen sat on the beach and watched her four children play at the edge of the water, running around Ronon's long, long legs. Beside her, Rodney sat wrapped in towels from head to foot, and wearing a hat for good measure. "Look at them; they're every color of the rainbow," he said, and sucked for water through a straw. "Our kids are a Benetton ad," and Teyla did not understand why that was funny, but John, bronzed and wet from his most recent dip in the ocean, fell back, laughing, on the sand.
Also, while I'm talking about fics....
I stayed up til stupid o'clock the other night
reading a Hogan's Heroes fic on Fanfiction.net. It's 26 chapters and not quite finished, which is why I'm not officially reccing it. But it's really cool! It's a GEN FIC!!! *gasp* and it's about Klink being redeemed and friendship and it's about things going wrong and them having to pack in and actually escape back to England. And I think the author's done a great job of keeping it in the feel of the show, and the characterisations, though she occasionally over does the exposition.
Also, is there a way to send feedback on fanfiction.net without like, joining up or whatever?
