James's vocabulary
James says a number of words to name things - doggie, ducky, dotti (his blanket), dada, mommy, mao (his word for cats, squirrels, lions, tigers and raccoons), momo (motorcycle), bah (bus), ball, bubble, nope (no as the answer to a question), no no no (something that is not allowed), yeah, night-night, byebye, wawa (water), more (with sign as well), sign for milk, moon, and boo boo.
And he'll repeat these words if we say them first - me, buddha, tree, dirt, meat, mine, bright, big, gentle - and he will make the appropriate animal sound for dogs, cats, cows, owls, monkeys and wolves. James howling like a wolf never fails to crack us up.
