I'll confess to not knowing yet exactly how ominous it is. It's likely to be a 30k-40k-word story when all is said and done, maybe longer, so I've written a quarter of it at best. But even if things don't get terribly grim, Dishon and Salim are able to not only help with practical matters but also provide perspective and encouragement in ways that even Bobby can't.
