almost that time again
school starts tuesday, my last semester of college. crazy. i have a world religions class, a german civ class auf deutsch, an environmental individual study, my honors project, and.. intermediate tennis. yes, intermediate. haha. :) that should be funny.
i think i'm one of the only people i know who doesn't adore garden state. i watched it with josh the other day (along with napoleon dynamite .. oh i'll get to that in a second ;)) and i mean, it had its moments. josh totally dug it. as do most people i've talked to about it. but i thought it really dragged, especially there at the end, and that conversation he had with his father? ok no one would say those things. "let's just be happy with how we aaaare dad! and let me be meeeee. and let me stroke your chest." wah wah blah blah. i can just imagine everyone scrunching up their noses and calling me a blasphemer now.
but napoleon dynamite. holy shit. that movie is AWESOME!!! it's one of the best things i've seen. i saw it with adum and kirk back at home (haha the sir pizza crew.. jesus.. high school). but i love it. i made my mom watch it, then josh, then amos. totally. it's in the rotation with harold and maude (though on a totally different end of the spectrum!) O:)
we went bowling last night, and by the end it was just me and nate dawg still in it to win it. we bowled like 8 games in three hours. my scores were, in ascending order, 108, 114, 131, 131, 141, 150, 161, and 166. i beat nate in 6 out of 8 games, which is insane. he was pretty off though, and i was pretty on. he did bowl a 180 though, which was hot. i was totally impressed with myself, seeing as i haven't bowled in MONTHS. i also played tennis yesterday, and now have huge blisters on my hand.
