Sai has grown on me. I used to be pretty indifferent toward him, but the new arc's attention to him has confirmed a sneaking suspicion I was developing: He is adorable.

He's really stopped being"just Sasuke's replacement" and become his own person with his own background and such. :D I love that!!

Yeeeeah. Just being a place holder on the team to fill the "tragic, darkhaired, aloof" spot isn't exactly great characterization. So it's nice to see him moving more and more out of that--and being interesting and everything!
