How drunk was I?
That's the name of the game folks...a free drink to the winner! Man...Friday night I was a little toasty. It was really bizarre too because all my cousins (well at least the ones that are 21 or over) came out to the bar on Friday night to cheer Amy on. Amy, Charles, Jess & Tim, Amy's friends (Nicole, Eric, Laura, April, Anthony, ect), and Dan showed up. I got to see his spiffy new car and all my cousins got to see me drunk. FUN FUN!! That's ok...Mike was my driver for the evening.
AMY won the contest! How awesome is that. I really didn't know who to cheer for because I knew all but two of the contestants...but blood is blood...and she's been my kareokee girl since we were in grade school. It was awesome how everybody came out to support her too.
I maintained my sobriety pretty well for the rest of the weekend though...not to say I wasn't imbibing the sweet honey of the beer gods...but I wasn't like Friday. You know you are bad when you can hear yourself slurring...
Whenever I asked anybody if I was really that drunk their eyes get really big and they do this slow nod, as if to say "You have no idea".
I need a fall coat, Becky finally stole her coat back. Man...I stole it more than a year ago and now she goes and steals it back...what the hell? Ah well...Tanya and I are heading out to Burlington Coat Factory in a bit here to see what we can find. There is a big fat list of shit I have to do that I'm just not getting done right now. I need to do laundry, find a costume, find a coat, get my TB test done for the voulenteership at the hospital, clean my room, get my oil changed, and the list goes on. I've gotten absolutly nothing done all last week and it's driving me crazy.
What I need most though is sleep. Man...sleeepppp....zzzzzz. That would be AWESOME right about now. Unfortunatly I'm still at work. One minute and I'm outta here (or whenever Tanya stops by my desk to get me...whichever comes last). Falling asleep at the keyboard...will be fun driving in rush hour traffic...YEA!!! Wish me luck!
