It's cancer.  The Big C Word.  I hadn't heard anything so I called the place where  I had the biopsy done and they told me that the results had been sent to my primary care doctor, who is a great doctor (Dr. Linda Brown) She a no nonsense fast talking sweet person.  Called her office they had the test results but Dr. Brown was out that day, but she could still check her computer and get back with me.  Called the breast specialist thinking maybe she could get the test results from Brown's office, she was out for the day.  So I figured that was it, i would have to wait.  Went to use the restroom and came back to a missed call on my phone I dialed the number back and it was Dr. Brown.  She told me lots of stuff but the one that I remember most was it was cancer and I better get my butt in to see the specialist ASAP.  I wasn't to delay or fool around i had to give my word that I was going to do it.  She made sure I had a surgeon specialist, which Dr. Cox is one and told me to call her any time.  You see I missed my mammogram last year, partly because I didn't really want to do it and partly because I forgot about it and lost the papers for it.  This year when I had to go in and see her for a medicine refill she slapped the papers in my hands and told me to DO IT and DO IT NOW, no excuses, so I did and this is where I've ended up.  I made the appointment with the breast specialist and its for Wednesday, June 12th.  I best get prepared and get ready with questions.  Not sure exactly what to ask but I better figure it out this is going to be a fight for my life and I doubt there are second chances.
