The Dirt Seer Hypothesis
The curse of the Dirt Seer.
In every relationship there is one person more sensitive to clutter and mess(the Dirt Seer), the other is not as aware of it (Oblivious). This means that the Dirt Seer ends up doing most of the cleaning (alas). The Dirt Seer can ask the Oblivious to clean up, but they generally do a shittier job than the Dirt Seer would have due to their bad eyesight or general disregard for clutter or soil. When you get two Oblivious in a relationship, either one becomes the Dirt Seer or you basically get a new episode of Hoarders out of the deal. Two Dirt Seers and the place is immaculate, but there will likely be arguments as to the best location of things and what type of cleaning products to use(both think the other is 'doing it wrong').
