I don't usually post obituaries, but this woman deserves a lot more recognition than she'll get. She was often one of the only people that anyone could go to when governments served up harm. She was a firebrand, fearless in her pursuits of helping those in need, an anchor for aboriginal people and cultures, a warrior of the highest order. If only a handful of people from each country could emulate her, the world would be a noticeably different and better place.
