Camping in the Cascades, why you don't put blackberries in banana bread
To those of you who couldn't make it: Neener. 'Twas just myself and Mike, Sue, Bob & Kim.
Once we hooked up (spent5 hours 200 yards away from the rest of the camp wondering where they were). We ate, drank, and were merry completely hammered.
Saturday consisted of some sunbathing and exploring the woods along the creek, and learning why one should NOT put blackberries in banana bread. It tastes fine, but went from a grayish-purple dough to mostly green when baked.
Pics will be posted. Definitely a recipe saved for Halloween.
Saturday night ascended into awesome, sobriety was conquered, digetive systems damaged, and an educated passerby would've described the scene as downright baccanalian.
Today...Mega haedache. Gradually recovered and took our time heading out.
