It's wonderful. Makes my Tolkien fangirl heart very happy. Mark Gatiss tweeted to reassure everyone that it wouldn't change the Sherlock schedule. That made me even happier.
I was thinking of holding some kind of LOTR rewatch in lieu of Sherlock on telly, but I don't know if I'll have the time until after my exams in November.
Ah, exams. I've mostly avoided them during uni, but thats because I despise them and tried to choose subjects that didn't involve them (although some subjects were compulsory and had to be endured).
I think a re-watch would be fun after exams. I'm struggling to find the time because of uni stuff at the moment too.
Yeah, I would rather write essays than do exams, although I know a lot of people who would think differently. The thing about exams is that you spend ages studying for something and in the end you're only tested on one or two little aspects of it. I once had a 10 mark exam question that was based on ONE lecture ppt slide.
Yeah, I'm a bit weird in that I generally like writing essays.
You can tell it's exam time at Sydney uni because the jacaranda tree in the main quad is starting to bloom (it's strange... very pretty, but also a reminder of exam halls). I see people studying everywhere and I do feel a bit sorry for them. Basically, good luck with your exams.

I want to rewatch the LOTR movies now. I haven't seen them for over four years!
