I could imagine the look on his face, and I still haven't recovered properly from the thrill.
GAH! I need to stop writing Bush slash fic with PMG in mind, or else I won't be able to keep a straight face when I meet him in March.

And I can't seem to write anything that doesn't feature just a little bit of angst. (Only one of my fics is the exception to that, and it's DWfic)
To qoute The Doctor: 'What? What? What?
He's coming over to Melbourne and Sydney on convention, and I will be going if I work out how the ticketing system works. Quite looking forward to it, actually. =)

Actually, I have a feeling that he'll be a better father than Hornblower, once he gets over the horror of having fathered a child, that is. He will start teaching the poor kid seamanship (I can't see him having a daughter. I know there is a 50% chance but...) even before the kid is able to walk and talk.
And he can father my children anytime.

He most certainly is.
Started sketching on a little drabble in which a friend of Miss Bush brings her children when visiting the Bush famliy. The currently unemployed Lieutenant ends up with a child on each knee, telling stories of how wonderful Lieutenant Hornblower is.
Ohhhhh that would be before the Hotspur, right? Yes.... hmmm Bush did have plenty of time for that sort of thing. I can most certainly imagine that! =)
They start telling me a lot of things when subjected to him in general.
Mine too, except in the singular. =)
