I decided to play Marshall, because I was apparently going through a "PLAY EVERY ALIAS CHARACTER EVER" phase and, at the time, we needed a techie for the impending Torchwood Four, so I tossed Marshall into the Rift and history was made. XD
In canon? Either the scene in S2 where he makes a Pong game rather than rebuilding Echelon or where he stands up to Sloane in S5... Or the scene in Tuesday where he has to pretend to be Jack. In the Rift... The whiteboard briefing, hands down.
My favorite bit of headcanon was that he was expelled from his first high school because he tried to hack into the system for answers to a test for a friend and wound up hacking into the system that turned the sprinkers on by accident and caused a lot of water damage on top of the whole "hacked the school's computers" thing. It's just adorable for some reason.
The last thing Marshall did off-screen was SPEND SOME TIME OUTSIDE OMG. Abby took him to the zoo that once, so now he makes it a point to meander around the park at least once a day so no one can accuse him of being a shut-in. XD
Um... I think Marshall would probably TRY to say something deep and meaningful, but it wouldn't come out right, because he'd be SCARED, so it's doubtful he'd say anything at all, unless he was with someone he really cared about and then he'd try to make sure they knew how he felt about them and to make sure they'd tell everyone else that everything was okay.
THE TECH GEEKS NEED TO BE BADASS... Beyond that, I really don't know what I'm doing with him. XD Poor Marshall. He needs to do stuff.
Um... Marshall and Vaughn should do something. And maybe he should meet Trin, so they can babble at each other. And he'd probably appreciate Gladys. XD
