I decided to play him, BECAUSE YOU ASKED ME TO. XD I remember it clearly. I was thinking about joining and said I'd app Penny and then you asked me if I'd app Des and I asked if it was okay and you ran it by the other mods, and LO, THERE WAS A DES. And I have never regretted it since. *pets him*
Oh dear God. In the Rift, I'd have to say the Weeping Angel thread hits a high point, as well as the thread where he dies and comes back, because BIRTH OF THE OT3 OMG. Hell, any time he and the Doctor get together it's adorable... Basically, Des interacting with ANYONE is love. He's so much fun to write.
I love that Des doesn't stand for anyone. He doesn't believe in sides- he believes in right and wrong. He doesn't support humans except when they're being killed and they don't deserve it. He doesn't support the Between except when the humans or the angels or demons are doing something DUMB to them. He would NEVER fight in a war, because wars are everything he doesn't believe in- it's two or more groups fighting because they disagreed about something. What Des fights against are, essentially, bullies, and I love that for some reason. XD
Also, I love the fear of winged pigs thing SO MUCH, especially since it just came out in the Rift. The Rift has allowed me to explore SO MUCH MORE OF DES, I swear.
The last thing Des did off-screen were work a few easy cases and spent some time doing his homework to prepare for the wedding. XD He's not used to this, the poor boy.
Des would probably try to think of some really clever or witty last words, since he kinda sucked at that the last time. (In the Rift, anyway. His last words in canon are pretty badass.)
Des is ghostbusting with Rachel, zombiefighting with Maria, and he will probably continue to flail about the wedding. At some point, he will get married and, at some, point, he will be tortured. The usual stuff. XD
IS THERE ANYONE I HAVEN'T PLAYED DES AGAINST THAT YOU WANT ME TO PLAY HIM AGAINST? XDD
