[[OOC: Backdated to right after the Silent Hall thread, circa two months ago.]]

Sark wouldn't admit it to anyone, but April's journal entry announcing the return of one Jack Harkness or John Thane or whoever the hell he was today set him so far on edge that it took every iota of control that he had within him to keep from turning into something and prowling the halls as an annoyed tiger or stalking through the vents as a frightened ferret. As it stood, he spent the first few hours drinking something much harder than he was used to, because it was all he had without having to go to the apartment to fetch the Petrus.  He didn't drink nearly enough to let it really affect him, but he did manage to drink enough to remind him of why he doesn't drink when he has a problem- he figures out a solution.

But how does one solve a problem like Jack Harkness?

Stalking the halls, hoping to find someone, anyone who might be able to explain the matter to him (because he felt he had every right to know, given that if there was even a iota of Thane left in the man, his life might very well be in danger), was perhaps not the best solution to the problem, but it was the only option he had beyond continuing to sulk in his room or asking April... And Harkness, Thane, and all of his other relevant identities, if he had them, are not anything he feels comfortable discussing with her. So that leaves any member of Torchwood... Any member at all.
