6. What's the fic you've written with the angstiest ending?
Mm, maybe the one where I killed teenage Rachel?

7. What's the fic you've written with the happiest ending?
I'm not actually sure about this. I don't do very well with happy endings. This one got turned a bit bittersweet by reality, but still, maybe:
Architecture (342 words) by

Real News RPFRating: General Audiences

Characters: Keith Olbermann, Rachel Maddow
Additional Tags: TSP Comment Fic, Current TV Era

Rachel moves to Current.
8. Do you write crossovers? If so what is the craziest one you've written?
More like overlapping fandoms than crossovers? Like ER and Third Watch crossed over in canon, I did an obligatory same-actor smut thing... nothing wild.
9. Have you ever received hate on a fic?
No, not really.
10. Do you write smut? If so what kind?
Do I write smut, lol. DO I WRITE SMUT. Yes, I write smut. Two people, three people, more people, whatever gender configuration, usually a dash of some sort of kink.
11. Have you ever had a fic stolen?
Sort of! Just the other day, I discovered someone had taken my fic, reversed the names, and posted it. With a link back to mine. When I asked them to, they deleted it, so it worked out fine.
12. Have you ever had a fic translated?
Yup! Someone translated my Salem's Lot fic into Russian and I can sort of manage to read a few sentences here and there even though my limited Russian is very rusty:
И от тех, кто шуршит во тьме (451 words) by
arisu_aikoChapters: 1/1
Fandom:
Salem's Lot - Stephen King,
Salem's Lot (TV 2004)Rating: Mature

Relationships: Ben Mears/Mark Petrie
Characters: Ben Mears, Mark Petrie
Additional Tags: Nightmares, Juvenilia
Summary:
Бен успокаивает Марка после того, как тому приснился кошмар.
13. Have you ever co-written a fic before?
The only one posted on AO3 is with
bessemerprocess, but I cowrote another pundit fic with someone as well. In fact, the first fic I ever wrote was cowritten!
14. What's your all time favorite ship?
I'm not sure if I have one. Hawkeye/Margaret, maybe? It was my first and I'm still coming back to it, which isn't something that happens with all my ships.
15. What's a WIP that you want to finish but don't think you ever will?
The Brenda/Sharon high school AU. 😭 Or the 5 Times Ann and J.R. Dallas fic. 😭😭 The one where Ann is a ranch hand at Southfork. 😭😭😭 The Valentine girl AU. 😭😭😭😭
16. What are your writing strengths?
I'm usually pretty good with dialogue. I can also come up with interesting plots, even if I can't necessarily execute them.
17. What are your writing weaknesses?
Getting motivated enough to actually write. Not letting my dialogue turn into a case of talking heads. Doing that thing fic does where it spends sentence upon sentence getting your into the character's feelings.
18. What are your thoughts on writing dialogue in other languages in a fic?
...which would you like to see, my Hamilton fic with the French dialogue, my Dallas fic with the Spanish, or my The Closer fic with the Russian? But there's nothing wrong with a good "[name] said in [language]" when the thing is beyond your skill level or too complicated to convey through context. (I've got Hamilton and Laurens teaching Laurens's daughter French, Sue Ellen and Carmen talking, and Sharon struggling with Russian while she and Brenda are on the run. I would not attempt to write two adults who were fluent having a conversation.)
19. What was the first fandom you wrote for?
M*A*S*H!
20. What's your favorite fic you've written?
I want to say Girl Money, but the ending has been bugging me lately. Aside from that, if it's under 600 words and over 200, it's got a better than average shot of being on my favorites list. But I think I'm going to go with my strongly worded note to James Duff:
Banished Daughters of Eve (249 words) by
sarkenChapters: 1/1
