I think Tumblr has ruined my ability to think of things to talk about.
Just hit the button on the pretty picture and don't have any thoughts about it; if you do, put them in the tags where they can be ignored and don't invite discussion.
I do see meta go by for fandoms I'm not in, but my fandoms don't really have... any. That's almost always been true for my fandoms, though, except for the great "Is It Okay to Write Keith/Rachel?" debate. The general fandom meta seems to be stuck in an endless cycle of antis vs pro-shippers. I feel like there used to be more variety.
