Screen cap search

Jun 17, 2007 04:54

If a girl wanted to make some The West Wing icons, is there someplace she could find screen caps? I haven't the ambition to make my own.

There need to be Third Watch DVDs now, NBC. I want screen caps and icons, damn it.

Apparently, if you trust tvshowsondvd.com, Third Watch is "being evaluated" for a 2008 release.

I have the first season on Region 2 DVD, and I'd totally cap the hell out of it for you if I knew how the make a computer's DVD-Rom region free.:(

That would be awesome, but I'm not going to hold my breath.

I don't know if you can make a DVD drive region free. I know you can change the region on one, but only a limited number of times (five is the number that comes to mind) before it locks up. This says you can make it region free using DVD Region Killer, but I can't vouch for whether or not it works.

I think I have an extra DVD drive around here somewhere, though, so maybe I'll give it a try myself, and then get the DVDs if it works. I've been thinking about it, but it's such an investment what with needing a new player and all.

Hmm. Seems I might be able to play Region 2 DVDs on my Macs without any firmware changes.

Did you get yours from Amazon.co.uk or someplace else? I think I have to test this theory...

I'm going to bookmark that link for when I get my new computer. For now though, I'm not going to attempt anything, I'm bound to screw it up (me and technology aren't the best of friends.)

I got the R2 DVDs through Amazon.co.uk, you can sign in using your regular Amazon.com sign in.
