(no subject)
The end of the semester is rapidly approaching. The beginning of summer is just around the corner. I'm still working at the liquor store. I interviewed at Ulta Saturday evening. Lori, the chick that interviewed me said "I'll call you tomorrow and let you know either way." I did not get a phone call. Because it is now Tuesday, I am assuming that I did not get the job. They opened Monday. She did ask me something like "So you'd have to give 2 weeks notice?" Which made it sound like she wanted to hire me, but she needed me ASAP and I only had/have Monday and Sunday off. Who knows, maybe she'll call me in a week when they fire someone or someone quits. I'm thinking of trying Best Buy, JCPenney, DSW... I really need to be making more than $6.75 an hour, especially if I'm not taking any classes this summer. I will not be working 56 hours a week at Thrifty. I might have the opportunity to work for Dave's sister as a secretary. But I haven't heard anything more about that...
I've got so much to do before the end. It seems like a lot is due this week... I might have to do an in-class therapy session on Wednesday. Today I'm filming a faux-counseling session with a girl in my Thursday night class. I think Thursday I have to turn in a "resource" book full of great resources for someone who is seeking help. Haven't started on that...
Oh the really big one is the supposed to be 15 page research paper due Friday, I think before I'm done with work. I have to turn in the paper and all the the sources digitally. And I've heard it takes FOREVER for it to load. I currently have about 5 sources and nothing concrete written. Did I mention my topic is "fee setting?" How interesting could that possibly be? Then Monday I have to present this information with a clever Powerpoint. Then the following week I have exams. In one class we have some sort of take home answer this long question exam. So I hope he will grade kindly on that one. In another class we are done with our "exams" and we just have to do the in-class counseling session. And then there's Ethics, the class that has the 15 page paper and powerpoint. We have an all out final. It's gonna suck. There's a lot of required readings, articles, and cases that I haven't read. Well I gotta get going. Gotta film that video... Not looking forward to it.
