Mack and I are offically moving out of this apartment and into *Drumroll please* another apartment. But the new apartment is a downstairs 2 bedroom, one bath, with (in my opinion) a better location. It's located kinda behind LSUS (therefore, it should not take me 10 minutes to make a left out of my aparment complex anymore!). A really big perk, is the washer and dryer connections and actual laundry room. It's not a large room, but it's a space where clothes can be washed and doors can be closed! We do not at this time have a washer or dryer, but I may be interested in finding some used for cheap, or buying 1 of the 2 new at Sears or something with a new credit card where I won't have to pay interest if it is paid off in 6-12 months. Finding a W/D is something I am very interested in. I HATE taking laundry to either other people's houses or even to the laundromat that we have in our current apt complex. It's just a hassle and Mack and I are VERY bad about doing laundry on what is considered a "regular" basis. We are known to go weeks without doing laundry. We have each been known to buy more socks or underwear to avoid laundry. And Mack has around 15 Cane's shirts... so it's really not that hard to go that long... But then we end up with a mountain that requires something like $16 to wash and dry (that's 8 loads...). I am one of those people that likes to wash sheets and towels weekly... but I don't care enough about them to drag them around the apt complex to do them as often as they should be done. We also have at least 3 sets of sheets...
We can begin moving in March 28th. I'll need to get a day or 2 off of work... That's almost impossible. I worked 6 days last week and 6 days this week... Plus class 3 nights a week... Yeah. Well I've got to go. Mack and I are making omelettes for dinner.
