Loyalty????

Sep 07, 2004 22:23

What is it???

Is it friends that have your back?

Is it family?

Is it a matter of blood or water?

Is it biblical?

Is it fair to ask that of someone?

When should you give your loyalty??

If you have answers to any of these questions I would love some insight.

what happened? i have no idea how to answer those questions exactly, but i find that most people deserve and give some, if very little. the best question for me to ask may be "are you ok?"

That's a good question. Just recently had some people let me know that they don't hold me in any higher regard or better yet "closer" to them then some of their worst enemies and they're blaming it on Religion. I don't know what to think...

what do you think???

i know some people get somewhat defensive and put-off when people spout religion all the time. i'm not saying you are, i can't begin to know everything that's going on. but, the stereo-type is that the "religious" person will try to get them to convert. also, how close did you feel to them?

Well, I fell pretty close to them. At least I thought I did. I guess our definition of friendship is different. Menaing their's and mine. I mean they said as Christians we can't hate anyone or even be upset with them. well, I am upset at one person in particular and we were all at someone's house and they invited this person over and I didn't want to see them. Well, my friends decided I was being childish, well, one in particular and invited the person over anyways. It was like...well, I am currently having a bad day, it was Sunday, I found out about my Uncle passing away and then the last thing I wanted to do was see someone I didn't care too much for. And the worst part was, no one agreed with me. It was like compassionless night. And out of all my church friends only 2 said they were sorry to hear about my Uncle. I mean come on people. And I guess by loyalty I mean, sticking by my side even when you think I am wrong. Or looking otu for my feelings instead of your enemy's. Any of this making sense???
