Get back to where we once belonged
I don't even know what to write in here anymore, so decided to take advantage of the meme some of you have been doing. sillyzilly2k gave me the letter M.
Something I hate: Marmelade. Really, jelly of any kind. It's a texture thing. And a way too sweet thing. Ironically, I LOVE cranberry sauce. Which I realize is basically the same thing. Except cranberry sauce tastes like Christmas!
Something I love: Mars, Veronica. Recently rewatched the movie and it totally holds up a year later! Also am digging the post-movie books - haven't read second one yet but it's on my bookshelf. Got the first one on audiobok as read by Kristen Bell and LOVED it. Unfortunately KBell couldn't read the second one...my guess is she was busy having a baby. (Excuses, excuses!) Ironically my favorite audiobook reader (yes, I have a favorite audiobook reader) did it, and it's probably the ONE book read by her that I can't listen to. Tried a sample, but if it's not KBell, it's not Veronica Mars. Anyway this is my longwinded way of saying...I'm so glad Neptune is back in any form, because I love that world and the characters who inhabit it.
Somewhere I've been: Massachusetts, many times, to visit my sister. Though fortunately, not right now. I don't think anyone wants to be in Massachusetts right now.
Somewhere I'd like to go: Mykonos? Maui? I don't have wanderlust, like, at ALL. But I won't turn down a good beach, and haven't been to either.
Someone I know: Oh wow. Guys, maybe my brain just isn't working on a lazy Sunday afternon, but I can't think of anyone I know socially whose name starts with M. So, I guess I will say my boss, whose name is MIchael? That's so lame. My MOM?
A film I liked: See above, Mars, Veronica. But first one that popped into my head was Moulin Rouge. Oh man did I love me some Moulin Rouge. And Ewan McGregor. 2001 - The Summer of Moulin Rouge - will live in infamy in my heart.
