Nostalgia isn't what it used to be
Sometimes I get these emails from my ex-boyfriend that make me really miss him, and make me wish that we were living in the same place at the same time. Tonight I got one of those emails.
I know that we are not meant to be for the long term, because we want different things in life, different BIG PICTURE things. But there are those people in your life with whom you just CONNECT, and they just get you, and he is one of those people. Still. Even though we haven't seen each other for years.
So, I dunno. Sometimes I just miss him. And wish he were here or I was there.
We do have a hypothetical date at some point in the future, but for now...
