I was just browing on TWoP, and very cautiously peeked in the Luke/Lorelai thread. It was the top thread, and this made me curious as to what people were discussing, and whether everyone was depressed. From the few glances I saw ( I have to be careful not to get sucked in, as this is so easy for me to do, and then five hours later I have done nothing and feel crappy), I gathered they are doing a picture retrospective game right now, and someone linked this picture. I hadn't seen the screen-cap yet, and actually forgot about this scene. It made me smile and laugh, so I thought I'd share it with you all. Also, look at the love in their eyes. See? Everything will be fine. Promise.
I watched "Elizabethtown" tonight. It wasn't the best film I've ever seen, but I enjoyed a lot of it, especially the scenes with the family. The thing that really got me though, was the ending montage with his road trip. Oh my god. I SO want someone to make me a soundtrack for driving across the country. Or I want to make a soundtrack for someones cross-country trip. Either or. That is like, one of my ultimate romantic fantasies. And yeah, it was a little (okay...a lot) cheesy in the context of the film, but the music-obsessed gal in me didn't mind at all. She may have even gotten a little teary.
