So um, I am in love with this trailer.
Seriously, I've watched it like, five times today. HBO sure does know how to make a promo, right? Also? I'm in love with all that music.
I've had my share of problems with the original film and with the musical (more on that here) but damn, this looks really good. And HBO has a good track record. We sponsored this film from HBO, which is great. As is, you know, every other original HBO movie ever. I still haven't seen John Adams, but it's on my Netlflix queue. I don't have HBO, but I've already alerted the media (i.e. my parents who do have HBO) and we've got a date.
The icing on top of all of this? I'd want to see it anyway, but uh, Broadway Boyfriend Malcolm is in it! I'm not sure how big his role will be - he's playing Gould, so I imagine he'll only be in the beginning. But still! Yay! And he's singing in that last song! Very exciting. (For those who didn't catch it, he's in the promo, for like, a half second, around 1:30.)
