Things
1.) It is effing COLD today. I know a lot of you are probably stuck in the big snowstorms, and I feel for you. But IT IS SO EFFING COLD HERE! So cold that I needed to capitalize. So cold that this morning walking to the Metro I thought my face was going to fall off. I really need to go grocery shopping, but I don't wanna because it is SO EFFING COLD.
2.) Roommate left yesterday afternoon for her parents house. She'll probably be staying until Jan. 2nd. I like Roommate a lot, but it's always nice to have the apartment to myself. Today I took a shower with the bathroom door open! Because I can!
3.) Friday sillyzilly2k had our Christmas Movie Marathon, and I'd call it a success. But, if you're going to watch White Christmas and Holiday Inn, I suggest you start with Holiday Inn, because White Christmas is just so much better, and you want to end on a high note. Holiday Inn continues to be filled with racism and stupid characters. But, there's also Fred Astaire dancing drunk and with firecrackers, which almost makes up for its flaws. Almost. On Saturday, Roommate and I watched Love Actually, and I wrapped all my presents. Colin Firth continues to be the only man on the planet who can wear a turtle neck sweater and look manly. So I think I am officially ready for Christmas.
4.) I think I might have a new celebrity crush. It's not going to be major or anything, sort of along the lines of Matthew Perry or Kyle Chandler- just, "aww, I LIKE you! You're talented and cute and often ridiculously hot." See below for an example. (Also, why is it this year I just like blonde gay guys? Hopefully this will not translate over to real life crushes. I normally like 'em dark haired and straight.) Also: Amazing hair. Amazing!

5.) For it being the holidays, I kinda have a lot of work to do. I'm not swamped, but I'm busy enough. Which is kind of nice, because it should be quiet this week and next week, so I can chill and do my work. But...weird. It's the holidays, work. What gives?
