Clear eyes full hearts ....

When Jason Street went down first game of the season, everybody wrote us off. Everybody. And yet here we at the championship game. 40,000 people out there have also written us off. There are a few out there who do still believe in you. Few who will never give up on you. You go back out on the field, those are the people I want in your minds. Those are the people I want in your hearts. Every man at some point in his life is going to lose a battle. He is going to fight and he is going to lose. But what makes him a man is that in the midst of that battle, he does not lose himself. This game is not over. This battle is not over. So let's hear it one more time, together. Clear eyes full hearts....

You guys, FNL season 2 is out today! I know, it had its problems in the beginning, but it's still one of the best shows on TV, and I intend to buy it on my lunch break. Wheeeee! Also, tonight I can delete the last five or six episodes off my DVR, which is always oddly satisfying. Man, I love me some Dillon, Texas.

You know what else I love me some of? Or, who else, I should say? Kyle Chandler. And, his Fresh Air interview is finally up! I listened to it today on my way in. Uh...he has a sexy voice. I mean, a REALLY sexy voice. And, you know, he talks on the show and everything, but usually then I am either a.) too into the story to notice or b.) staring at the beautiful, beautiful man and his perfectly tussled head of hair. However, in an audio interview, all you've got is the voice, and hooowah is it sexy.

Ankle update: The doc seems okay. He gave me actual medicine, and some exercises I have to do three times a day, and I see him again in a month. He thinks I have stress fractures (which makes sense, because those don't show up on an MRI or X-rays) that never got treated, and three years later...yeah. The only thing is, how do you fix a stress fracture? I'm not sure you can. It's only been a day, but my feet and ankles are still killing me. I'm trying to be positive, though. Just as long as he doesn't give up on me, like the others.

fnl, ankles
