(no subject)
Well my mentor is back from vacation, and it seems safe to say that my summer break is officially over. Oh its nowhere near the amount of work i do during the school year, but it is still definately the equivalent to working full time. Shes already asking me for thesis stuff, and she hasn't even been back a week. Needless to say, I've barely started with my thesis. Today i spent 2 hours going through a stack of articles in her office that she felt may be useful, and am supposed to be narrowe into a more specific topic within the next two weeks. I'm scheduled to do 4 assessments next week, each one for about 3 hours, and do at least 3 hours of childcare, plus go to drug court hearings on Thursday. Even more annoying, 4th year kevin is making us do a marathon data session tomorrow (meaning at least 6 hours). I was supposed to have another assessment today, but they no showed. This blows. Its not that the work isn't fascinating, and useful. ITs just its summer. . . .. and i worked basically dawn to bedtime all semester. . .. and i really, really was enjoying doing nothing.
