(no subject)
So my power outage day ended up being awesome. I did so many things around this town that I haven't been able to do in soooooo long. I started off by finishing the novel I started reading at CHRISTMAS but hadn't had time or energy to finish (son of a witch by gregory mcguire - highly recommended if anyone's interested). I got rid of my old computer, and got a giant fancy coffee. I stopped into Penny's and unwitting stumbled into the 5 hour mother's day sale, and quite naturally went insane and bought lots of stuff. I went to the used book stores in town, and the video game store that sells stuff for old outdated systems. I even took myself to the movies and saw Poseidon (which was really, really, good). All in all it made me really really happy.
My parents sent me a brand new coffee maker for my birthday. Its niiiiiccceeee, and even has automatic turn on at certain times. They know me well. Still haven't started working on my thesis or doing other work related things i should be doing, but don't really care. Once i start getting down on my list of things that i've been meaning to do i'll get there. :)
