OMG TOURNAMENT
*waves* Yeah, the last few weeks have been really busy, so I haven't had much time to say anything. Glaaaah. Anyway, I just got back from a quiz bowl tournament at Princeton and it was completely dominant. So, usually, if you answer a question right, you get ten points. HOWEVER, if you answer it before a certain time, you get FIFTEEN points. And there was this ANGEL QUESTION OMG. It was the last round of the day, and I was rather tired so I was just kinda "phhhh..." and then the reader goes "shanshu prophecy"
me: *ears perk up* *thinks to self:could that possibly mean anything else?*
reader: ...that he would become human again-
me: *BUZZZZZZZZZZ* ANGEL!!
reader: that's a power, fifteen points.
me: Yaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay
So shwicicle, being the A team whore that she is, was in a different room, answering the same set of questions. we met up after the game:
me: omg ANGEL QUESTION I GOT A POWER OMG
shwicicle: omg me too high five!!!
me: when did you get it?
shwicicle: well the reader was like "blah blah blah shanshu prophecy..." and I was like "hmmm is there ANOTHER shanshu prophecy?" and then she was like "blah blah would become human again" and i was like BUZZZZZZZ ANGEL!!!! and she was like yay power!
me: OMG ME TOO WE BUZZED ON THE SAME WORDDDDD!!!!!1111
shwicicle: that's crazy. and there was this guy on the other team who was all "NOOOOOOOOOOOOO I MISSED A BUFFY QUESTION!!!" and i was like "nanananaboobooooo!"
yaaaaaaay. so dominant.
Also there was this question about camus, and sidney trained me to speak his language when practicing, like cahmooooo should be pronounced cay-muss and so the reader was like "name this author of the plague." I buzzed in and *kneejerk reaction* was like "caymus. i mean caahmooooo...." and mihan was like "that's terrible." And the reader was like "mehhhhhhh thats acceptable." Arg. Damn you sidney. Aaaaaaaaaaaaah.
So tired.
ETA: So i also finally saw not this week but LAST week's joan and omg sooooooooooooooooooooo sad. I can't deal. If i hadn't been watching it in school, I would have been bawling like a babeee. And I don't even LIKE judith that much. :(
