Thank you! Yeah, it's just been a busy summer so far, but hopefully things will be calmer for a bit. More writing to do, of course :) Glad you're enjoying this so much--the last chapter and epilogue will be up really soon! (And jealous!Watson soon morphs into guilty!Watson, whom I love just as much, hehe.)

I adored that! I loved how you protrayed the rivalry between Lestrade and Holmes here.

Also: It's been two days, barely, and he's managed to upset Watson. If his ribs didn't hurt, Holmes would sink down into the seat.
THAT JUST ABOUT BROKE MY HEART!!!! The awful thing is that I can see where both are coming from - I can see why Watson is jealous, but I can also see that Holmes HAD to do it, because he was doing it for the case, and it's not as if the case comes before Watson, just that they have to be entirely separate things for Holmes to work as he does. Still...poor Watson :( he needs a BIG BIG hug! Can I see hugs in the next chapter? ;)

I was so excited to see an update. I absolutely adore this fic. I love the way you're developing their relationship (as well as the case). Looking forward to the next chapter... they have some stuff to work out, I think.
