20 Days
20 days left of summer vacation. Honestly, four months is too long for a summer vacation, imo. How I desire for only the two month break high school gets. Much to do still involving student loans. Mainly dragging my ass half way across the city to drop off the signed forms. Hopefully everything will be correct. I had some concerns with the application, but when I called student loans, the person I was talking to was overly rude (constantly inturupting, etc) and the conversation ended shortly after with me going "Forget it, I'll figure this shit out my self." and hanging up.
Honestly, for the amount of money that the gov't will be getting back from me by the time my loans are paid off, you'd think they'd hire staff with better interpersonal skills. Yet more proof that the gov't will hire any moron to do a job someone competant should be doing.
Need to get back into drawing. Well, not drawing, so much as sketching. I've been doing a few things here and there, nothing worthy of posting, just practice pieces. However, with how work drains me, it's not often I have the energy to sit down and do any drawing when I get home. I'm hoping the switch to closing all the time will change that as it gives me the entire day to do whatever I want, then go to work and come home exhausted / frustrated / whatever.
Started watching Bakemonogatari. Series that started airing in Japan last month. Supposed to be 15 eps when finished. I *think* the 6th ep will be out soon (fansubbed of course. *adds Learning Japanese to his list of shit to do when done college*). It''s a very good series so far, if difficult to follow. The stories lines are easy to follow, it's the imagery that's another story. Much like Ghost in the Shell was very philosophical, and took a few watchings to fully understand, Bakemonogatari is very surreal. The imagery used through the anime add a much greater depth to the over all story being told. Highly recommended to anyone interested in anime.
Oh, more sims updates to come. Still have 165 pics to edit and go through. Playing-wise, Ebony and Carbon are already adults. Also started working on a family tree for the Rain-Bows, which I expect to have finished by Monday.
